Actual quantum computers don’t exist yet. The cryptography to defeat them may already be here

Symmetric and asymmetric cryptography is critical indeed for network security. No less critical is the hash algorithm for protection of secret credentials for solid identity assurance.

Identity assurance by citizens’ volition and memory that support the digital identity security and the values of democracy in the quantum age must be accompanied by the hash algorithms that stand fierce attacks by quantum computing.

We appreciate any information on quantum-resistant hashing algorithms. Give me a shout when something interesting is found in this aspect.
