Bane of Digital Identity — Disastrously Misguided ‘No Password’ Authentication

The misperceived ‘passwordless’ authentication is really a bane of identity security.

It’s a pity that a very large part of the global population remains unwittingly exposed to the peril of password-removed digital identity at the end of 2021; 20 years have passed since we started to sound the alarm.

We wish to make clear again that the password is to digital identity what the army is to national defence. Removing the password simply because it would be vulnerable to theft is ridiculous and self-destructive for identity assurance just as removing the army simply because it would be vulnerable to air attack is ludicrous and self-suicidal for defence of the nations.
