Caveats for Cybersecurity Starters
Starting a Cybersecurity Career

I do not think it will be possible to be successful in a cybersecurity career without being involved in digital identity. Then,
(1) you would need to be able to distinguish ‘what is not good and helpful enough’ from ‘what is ‘bad and harmful’.
(2) you would need to be able to notice that a token, whether PKI-based or otherwise, also carries the attack surface of being stolen or otherwise compromised.
(3) you would need to be able to tell whether this observation — a defense surface is a part of an attack surface in the case of password — is correct or wrong.
(4) you would also need to be able to tell whether it would be sensible to directly compare ‘authenticators’ and ‘deployment of authenticators.’
