Democracy is Premise for Meaningful Identity Assurance

Our proposition of Expanded Password System powered by citizens’ non-volatile autobiographic memory would, very probably, not be allowed to defend citizens’ digital identity where non-democratic governments have the freedom of violently forcing citizens’ to divulge their secret credentials.

Meaningful identity assurance needs democracy while democracy needs a solid identity assurance platform.

This is what I mentioned when I was asked about the relation between digital identity and governments in the interview with Dr Debesh Choudhury on 22/Sep.
