“Google Workspace weaknesses allow plaintext password theft” https://www.theregister.com/2023/11/15/google_workspace_weaknesses_allow_plaintext/

Judging from this report and others, they allow plaintext password theft on one hand and they are alleging that passwords are too vulnerable to theft in order to promote their passwordless solution on the other hand.

And, even more cynical is that the ‘passwordless’ schemes only destroy the identity security and the values of democracy.

What a strange situation!

Interested to know how passwordless schemes only destroy the identity security and the values of democracy ? — Here are dozens of posts I wrote on this problem: “LOSS of Security Taken for GAIN of Security” https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/loss-security-taken-gain-hitoshi-kokumai/

and “Probabilistic Biometrics Unravelled : How it brings down identity security” https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/biometrics-unravelled-password-dependent-hitoshi-kokumai/

We are ready here to help them get out of the quagmire with the most reliable identity solution supported by the most advanced quantum resistant cryptography from QRC in Switzerland unless they are determined to intentionally destroy the identity assurance platforms of democratic nations.
