Digital Identity for Digital Currency

The article says “To get the digital currency we need, we must get the digital identity that we need.”
If we want to have digital currency, we must have a solid digital identity platform. If we need a solid digital identity platform in democratic nations, we must have the digital identity platform that is to be activated only by our volition. Otherwise, not only security of digital identity would be destroyed but democracy wold also be eroded.
Do you tolerate such a situation that your digital identity is established while you are unconscious or unable to move?
