Digital Illiteracy is sadly found not just among the public but among the professionals who are teaching cryptography and cybersecurity.

In case it is new to you, here is my latest writing on this alarming subject “Renowned Cryptographer Spreading Misguiding Information on Biometrics?” (2June2023) https://www.linkedin.com/posts/hitoshikokumai_what-if-generative-ai-destroys-biometric-activity-7070240626285441024-aUwd

Earlier I had posted this comment — “Lack of Security-Literacy — Qualification for Digital Identity Professionals?” (18May2023) https://www.linkedin.com/posts/hitoshikokumai_identity-authentication-password-activity-7064851162079903744-qYsh

No electricians obviously can survive if they are indifferent to the opposite effect between ‘in-series’ and ‘in-parallel’, while not a few professionals who were indifferent to the same issue were able to not only survive but gain good reputations in cybersecurity business.

Amusing or Horrifying?

Thanks to Debbie Reynolds for this inspiring newsletter.
