Hate to Continue to Be Their Cash Cow?

To the best of my poor knowledge and limited intelligence, they must have been able to break into the systems and wallets either

1. by compromising the identity authentication of the people in charge

or

2. without the need of compromising the identity authentication of the people in charge

Should it be Case 2 or should the service providers be happy to be their cash cow, it is outside our scope.

Should it be Case 1, and, should the service providers hate to continue to be their cash cow, our proposition would contribute to the defence.
