Taken up today is this report “Are security measures good enough to counter the cybersecurity issues on Web 3.0?” https://www.analyticsinsight.net/the-growing-cybersecurity-concerns-are-threatening-web-3-0/

The risks taken up in the linked article are “data confidentiality, information quality, data manipulation, data availability and prone to unrecoverable monetary loss”.

It would be a wrongly designed identity assurance platform if we pick up one critical element that will ruin all the efforts to cope with these risks,

We have two ways to go — (1) claim to enhance the identity security and actually enhances it somehow or (2) claim to enhance the identity security and actually destroys the identity security.

Criminals must be delighted to be watching many big tech firms and not a few security professionals, knowingly or unknowingly, misleading more and more people to follow the scenario (2).

Hard to agree?
