New Development at ENISA
Besides the issue of security-destructive ‘Passwordless’ authentication schemes, ENISA ( The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity ) is now looking at the impact of our episodic memory on identity assurance of military personnel.
(A) This is the latest message from ENISA — “Thank you once again for sharing your work. We transferred your email to the team in charge of the topic.
We would like to suggest joining any of our future workshops or events around these questions. We invite you to keep an eye on our events page for that purpose: https://www.enisa.europa.eu/events#b_start=0 “
(B) The message I had sent was — “I have so far refrained from talking about what we can offer for solid digital identity lest your attention should be distracted from the grave issues of ‘passwordless’ and ‘biometrics’ authentication schemes. Exceptionally, let me change the subject to an issue of war today.
I have recently published a comprehensive presentation slide on our solution at https://www.slideshare.net/HitoshiKokumai/fend-off-cybercrime-with-episodic-memory-29july2022pdf
Page 11 refers to the adoption by Japan’s Army in 2013 as Typical Use Case of our solution. There, it reads “We humbly assume that they are well satisfied with us.”
We now have to change it to “We are proudly confident that they are very satisfied with us”; We have just been told that they want us to assure them of the continued support for at least 10 more years.
The ongoing ground battle in Ukraine, which could be replayed elsewhere, might possibly be behind it. We are certainly ready to share the information with defense forces of EU countries”
© This is my latest information provided to ENISA — “Many thanks for your heartening and informative message. I wonder if your defence-focused people might also be interested in this

It would be a great pleasure if our proposition leads to the democratic nations like EU better prepared against the cyberattacks on their military personnel from anti-democracy adversaries.
