Being able to have ourselves authenticated with our volition and memory is one of the key elements of our civil rights. All the global citizens should be included and nobody should be excluded.

For the inclusiveness, passwords are indispensable as secret credentials, whereas text passwords are so hard to manage and vulnerable to abuse while the passwordless and biometrics schemes only make the matter worse.

We could look to Non-Text secret credentials, especially our episodic memory, as an answer to the need of solid identity assurance. It could possibly provide the final answer which may well stay for centuries until humans come up with something other than Digital Identity for safe and orderly societal life
