I fully support the author’s observation of ‘security-lowering’ biometrics authentication.

As closely examined in there, biometrics authentication must not be deployed where security matters.

It would be unethical or could even be criminal to spread a nefarious false sense of security, by falsely claiming that biometrics authentication enhances security of digital identity, to the delight of criminals.
