Plurality of Identity

“After the state of New York gives the police access to “The Grid,” a new technology that allows people to purchase anything with a quick scan of their fingerprint, crime drops almost instantly. However, they also discover that certain people are popping up in two places at once” https://zendialogue.wordpress.com/2022/04/18/the-grid-plurality/
A friend referred me to this Sci-Fi short film titled “The GRID- Plurality” upon reading my latest post “BBC Not Asking FAR and FRR”
In the film the plurality is described as something very puzzling, but we know such plurality can easily happen and have actually happened in the real world. Most famous is the case of Brandon Mayfield.
Besides loudly-discussed cases of spoofing (copying/forging) of fingerprints and other body features, what is causing the really serious cases is FA (false acceptance/match/positive) that tends to happen frequently when the threshold of the biometrics sensing system is so set as to keep the corresponding FR (false rejection/non-match/negative) towards zero.
No biometrics technologies can escape the presence of FA and FR because biometrics is probabilistic by nature; body features of living animals are unpredictably variable in ever changing environments.
Shall we expect to see FA and FR being mentioned in coming films?
