Popular but Unreliable Conventional Password Managers

I was attracted to a negative comment about password managers on a LinkedIn post.

I believe it is a pertinent judgement — Conventional password managers hinge on an encrypted ‘password vault’ which could be broken as soon as the decryption key for the encrypted vault gets leaked. The outcome would be catastrophic — a single point of failure is broken as if all the eggs put in a single basket are lost at once.

We are going to release the beta version of our own leak-proof password manager Mnemonic Gateways with ‘no password vault’, which eliminates the serious drawbacks of conventional password managers.

At its core is ‘Image-to-Code Converter’, outline of which is described in “What ‘Image-to-Code Converter’ Offers to Global Population” (27Oct2023)
