IBM Plans to Deliver 4,000+ Qubit System: A New Roadmap for Quantum Computing

Good citizens have a number of good reasons to look to the good power of quantum computing. Very probably, bad guys have a number of bad reasons to look to the bad power of quantum computing. We certainly want to be able to enjoy the former while being able to thwart the latter. With no silver bullet solution in sight, it seems that multi-layer defence will be indispensable.

What is clear in this aspect is that a reliable identity assurance platform plays a crucial role in the defence defence at the bottom of the multiple protective layers.

Key is citizens’ volition and memory. An identity assurance platform without these human elements would help bad guys to abuse the tremendous power of quantum computing to attack citizens’ information assets by allowing them to login to the citizens’ devices and systems while they are asleep, drunken or otherwise unconscious and unable to move for whatever reason.

What we have solidly deep in our brain as our volition and memory is outside the realm of any dreadful power of quantum computing.

In this aspect I had published “Quantum Computing and Password Authentication” last October , which is still mentioned as the most ‘trending’ article at NY-based aiTech Trend — https://aitechtrend.com/
