The latter is the issue that we have to tackle in the sphere of Digital Identity. It refers to the threat of “passwordless” authentication schemes that destroy the defense that the conventional password system somehow provides.

Frightening is that this security-destructive ‘passwordless’ solutions are not touted by a small number of non-professionals but promoted by not a few ‘security professionals’ and big IT players that dominate the global tech media.
